Leg Extension
Try this leg extension exercise while sitting in your favorite chair. Start by sitting straight up in the chair while keeping your abs tight throughout the exercise. It is very important to continue to keep your abs tight so that you can protect your lower back. Now straighten your left leg as you keep your right leg bent with your right foot planted on the floor. Lift your left leg until it is parallel with the floor and then lower your leg to the floor again while keeping it straight. Repeat this motion for 3 sets of 15 repetitions on each leg.

Hip Flexion
Try the hip flexion exercise as you sit in a chair. Start by sitting, with your back straight, on the edge of a chair. Make sure that you keep your abs tight throughout the exercise in order to protect your lower back. Now lift your left foot about five inches from the floor with your knees bent. Now lower your foot to the floor again and repeat this motion for 3 sets of 15 repetitions on each leg.
